The Tow and Fert has been adapted to suit application of thick slurries of microfine lime or gypsum to the orchard floor right under the tree canopy.
Doing what the Tow and Fert does best, the agitation and mixing required to handle these hard liquids has now made it possible for growers to easily manage their soil ammendment programmes by putting more agronomically beneficial fertiliser on when they need to.
The Tow and Fert can mix fine particle product, suspended in water at a ratio of 2:1. That is 2 parts fine particle fertiliser to 1 part water (30% water).
