With a 1200 litre capacity this machine can easily dissolve 1⁄2 tonne of urea in cold water, or hold 1.5 tonne of dry fine particle product in suspension. The Multi 1200 features a single nozzle or optional booms, with a spray width of up to 20 metres, so you can cover 1 hectare in just 3 minutes. Using the optional on-board crane and being able to dump product directly out of a bulk bags, makes it very fast to load and operate. The agitation system features a patented housed impeller which ensures product can never settle out of suspension. The Multi 1200 can self-fill the machine by sucking the liquid from the effluent pond instead of using fresh water. Using just 1 pair of auxiliary tractor hydraulics, the Multi 1200 is simple and hassle-free. Fitted with a 100% Stainless Steel trash pump and a silicon carbide mechanical seal – specifically designed for this application, the Tow and Fert is built to last. All fittings are removable without tools and can be done in the field. Depending on application rate, the Multi 1200 has the capacity to cover approx. 12 hectares in one load.

Numerous research papers show the significant benefits of applying soluble fertilisers as a foliar spray, and also of applying non-soluble fertilisers as a fine particle blend rather than in its usual coarse ‘ag’ grade. However the practicality of mixing and applying these fertilisers with traditional boom sprayers and solid fert spreaders has put the job in the ‘too hard’ category. The Tow and Fert range solves these issues and offers farmers an easy, economical and convenient way to apply these ‘hard to deal with’ fertilisers. This means that the financial and animal health benefits of fine particle and foliar fertilisers can be gained without complicating your farming practices. Too easy!

The Tow and Fert range has many features which set it apart from a traditional boom sprayer. The mixing tank features patented powerful agitation, with mix ratios of up to 1 part water, 2 parts fine particle fert possible. The booms also feature our patented re circulation system, this means the booms continuously recirculate regardless of it the nozzles are spraying or not. These and many other features have been incorporated into the design of the Tow and Fert range to make mixing and applying fertiliser fast and convenient.
The scales kit separates the tank from the chassis on load sensitive bars and continually weighs what is in the tank. When calculating mixes using the supplied calculator software, the outputs are in kilograms which make filling the base liquid and fertiliser products accurate.
The 100% stainless steel dual boom kit doubles the spray width to approx 20 metres and is mounted on break-away joints in case you misjudge the distance to the fence post. Also, you have the option make these hydraulically from your tractor
If the weight of the Multi 1200 is too heavy for your tractor, add on the wheels and drawbar to put the weight back on the ground with a wide footprint of 2.5 metres.
This can be added at any time as it is all fitted to the machine with pins!

The filter kit in plumbed between the pump and spray nozzle and filters all the flow through a 3mm filter basket. This is easily accessible and can be cleaned in less than a minute with no tools.
The suction kit gives you the ability to use the pump on the machine to suck from an external liquid source – an effluent pond or trough.
This includes a 6 metre hose, mesh filter, firefighting nozzle, non-return valve for the pump and shutoff valve from tank suction port
If you don’t have a 2nd tractor or gravity fed hoppers/silos, then a single axis crane kit will make the operation of the Multi 1200 a one-tractor operation to fill, load and apply. It will lift 1 tonne from behind the machine and is operated from the tractor hydraulics. This will position the bag directly over the filling hole.

Rex Harris –
It’s probably the nicest piece of Farm equipment on our Farm. The manufacturers have done an excellent job. The majority of the metal parts are stainless steel and are as good as the day we purchased the unit. If fact we love our Tow and Fert unit and would totally recommend the it to any prospective buyer. Rex Harris
